APA Style
Using information ethically requires not only summarizing, paraphrasing, and quoting, but also giving credit to the original sources and authors for their ideas. In order to do this in a uniform way, the American Psychological Association (APA) has developed a set of style guidelines that can help you format your paper and use sources ethically. The Massasoit Writing Center has developed a handout to help you cite sources in APA Links to an external site., but we think these videos will also help you with in-text citations and formatting your paper in APA style.
In-Text Citations

The first video gives you a brief introduction to creating the in-text citations you'll need to use after you quote, paraphrase, or summarize information.
