How Should I Communicate with Students?
We recommend continuing to use whatever method of communication you started the semester with. So, if you have been emailing students through your email address, keep doing that. If you have been using the Canvas Inbox, please continue using the Canvas Inbox.
Option 1 - The Canvas Inbox
You can send messages to students through the Canvas Inbox. These messages will be delivered to students in their school gmail and they will also appear in Canvas for students. We recommend that you message your students frequently and direct them to the Canvas site for readings and assignments.
Option 2 - Email
Emailing your students is a good way of communicating with students. A dedicated gmail account is available for all students. We recommend that you email them frequently and direct them to the Canvas site for readings and assignments.
