Week 3 Homework #1

1. Go to the website called DNA from the Beginning.
2. Click on the button labeled Classical Genetics.
3. You will see 14 modules appear. I want you to work through Modules 1-5 and 13. Each module is set up like this:

• Concept - This includes a couple of short paragraphs of information.
• Animation - Usually a cheesy (but nicely done) animation that steps you through the material. Use the arrow icon to move through the animation.
• Gallery - Some images of relevant people or events. (I consider this to be optional.)
• Video - Contains one or two short video interviews with scientists discussing the module content. These are a little dry, but they are mercifully short. (In terms of presentation, these guys don't make science look particularly thrilling.)
• Bio - Short biography on a scientist that worked in genetics.
• Problem and Links - I consider these to be optional.
