Instructions
There are three relatively short articles to read that discuss genetic testing of ancient Egyptian pharaohs to determine family relationships and uncover some possible genetic conditions due to inbreeding. These articles all come from a recent issue of National Geographic and are featured on the NG website. I've included a list of things you're expected to learn from all three articles (it's a pretty short list) here.
- First Article: King Tut's Family Secrets. It consists of nine short pages. Use the "Next" link at the bottom of each page to move through the article.
- Second Article: The Risks and Rewards of Royal Incest (three short pages).
- Third "Article" (it's really just a picture): Tut's Family Tree
