Week 2 Homework #2

For this homework assignment, you will be investigating some of the issues involved in participating in a clinical trial for a cancer treatment. Clinical trials are important for discovering new drugs and treatments for cancer. In these trials, individuals who meet certain criteria (i.e., they have cancer) are given new therapies that (1) may not work or (2) may have adverse side effects. Needless to say, there are important legal and ethical issues involved with these studies.

I want you to do some internet scavenger hunting on the National Cancer Institute's website to find answers to the following questions. This information can be accessed two ways:
